What It Will Take to Bring a Swimming Pool to ISA

One of the questions we hear most at Iuka Sports Academy is simple:

“When are you going to build a swimming pool?”

It’s a fair question—and an exciting one.

A pool would open the door to new programs, year-round training, swim lessons, recovery options, and another way for families to enjoy ISA together. It’s something we want, and something we’ve been planning for carefully.

But it’s also something we’re committed to doing the right way.

Big Improvements Require Sustainable Growth

Building a swimming pool isn’t just a construction project. It’s a long-term commitment.

Beyond the upfront cost, a pool requires:

  • Certified staffing and supervision

  • Ongoing maintenance and utilities

  • Insurance and safety compliance

  • Programming that keeps it active and valuable

If we build it, we want to be confident that it will be safe, well-maintained, and available for years to come—not something we rush into and regret later.

That’s why we’ve set a clear, responsible goal.

Why 1,000 Members Is the Target

Right now, ISA is proud to serve around 600 members. That number alone says a lot about the demand for sports, fitness, and community right here in Iuka.

Reaching 1,000 sustainable members is the point where:

  • A pool becomes financially responsible

  • Staffing and safety can be handled properly

  • Operating costs don’t pull resources away from existing programs

  • The entire facility grows stronger, not stretched thinner

In short, 1,000 members means the pool becomes an upgrade, not a risk.

What Happens When We Hit 1,000

When ISA reaches that milestone, it changes what’s possible.

A swimming pool moves from “future idea” to real planning—with timelines, designs, and clear next steps. It also strengthens everything else we do, from programming and scheduling to facility improvements across the board.

Most importantly, it means the pool is built on a foundation that supports our kids, families, and community long-term.

Where We Are Today

We’re not starting from scratch.

At roughly 600 members and growing, ISA has already proven that this community wants more options, more opportunities, and a place that invests back into its people. The momentum is real—and it’s exciting.

Now the question becomes how we get from 600 to 1,000.

This Is Where Our Members Matter Most

ISA has grown primarily because people talk.

Parents tell other parents. Kids bring friends. Families invite neighbors. That word-of-mouth growth is what makes this place special—and it’s also what makes big improvements like a pool possible.

Every new member doesn’t just join ISA. They help shape what ISA becomes next.

When you share ISA with someone else, you’re not just recommending a gym or a sports facility—you’re helping move the entire community closer to something bigger.

Looking Ahead

We believe in building things that last. We believe in transparency. And we believe that the best facilities are created alongside the people who use them.

A swimming pool is part of ISA’s future. Reaching 1,000 members is the key that unlocks it.

If you believe in where ISA is headed, the most powerful thing you can do is simply invite someone to be part of it. One new family at a time is how we get there—together.
