To gain confidence.
To be challenged in a way that actually sticks.
This week, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about a program that does exactly that.
Meet XMC Military Camp – Live in Iuka
Colonel Land will be visiting Iuka this Thursday to meet with parents and families interested in the Extreme Military Challenge (XMC) Summer Camp.
📍 American Legion Post 15409 Spring Street, Iuka, MS 38852🗓 Thursday, April 23rd🕔 5:00 PM (Steak Night)
This is a casual, come-and-go setting where you can ask questions, hear directly from leadership, and decide if this is the right fit for your teen.

What is XMC Military Camp?
Extreme Military Challenge (XMC) is one of the top military-style summer camps in the country, designed specifically for teens ages 13–18.
The camp is located at Camp Liberty in Battleground, Alabama, and runs throughout the summer with programs ranging from 2 to 7 weeks.
Teens from across the U.S.—and even internationally—attend each year.
What Makes It Different?
Let’s be clear:This is NOT a correctional camp.
XMC is for teens who:
Want a challenge
Need direction or structure
Are curious about military or leadership paths
Or simply want to push themselves beyond their comfort zone
It’s designed to build—not punish.

What Your Teen Will Gain
XMC focuses on real-world development that carries far beyond summer:
Discipline & accountability
Leadership & decision-making skills
Confidence under pressure
Physical fitness & mental toughness
Teamwork in demanding environments
These aren’t classroom concepts—they’re learned through experience.

What They’ll Actually Do
Training is modeled after real military environments—but delivered in a safe, structured, and professional setting.
Activities include:
Obstacle courses and physical challenges
Rappelling and field exercises
Marksmanship and tactical training
Leadership scenarios and team missions
The program is run by highly experienced staff with decades of combined experience.
It is also the only military summer camp sponsored by U.S. Army Cadet Command, which speaks to its credibility and quality.
Who This Is For
This program is a strong fit for teens who:
Need a confidence boost
Respond well to structure
Are physically capable and willing to be challenged
Have an interest in leadership, discipline, or military pathways
It’s not for everyone—and that’s exactly the point.

Why This Event Matters

You can read about XMC online all day, but this is different.
This is your chance to:
Meet leadership face-to-face
Ask real questions
Understand expectations and outcomes
Decide if it’s the right move for your teen
No pressure. Just clarity.
