Should Iuka Sports Academy Add a VR Gaming Arena?

We’re always looking for ways to make Iuka Sports Academy more engaging, more fun, and more valuable for our members—and we want your input.

One idea we’re seriously considering is adding a VR gaming station, specifically a Virtual Reality Arena using omnidirectional treadmills, like the Virtuix Omni system. This isn’t couch gaming. It’s full-body, movement-based virtual reality where players walk, run, and turn naturally inside immersive game environments.

A VR Arena could:

  • Give kids and teens a high-energy gaming option that still involves movement

  • Add a unique attraction you won’t find anywhere else locally

  • Create new after-school, weekend, and party opportunities

  • Blend technology with physical activity instead of replacing it

We see this as a complement to sports and training—not a replacement. Think of it as another lane for kids who love games but still need movement, coordination, and engagement. Done right, it could even introduce new families to ISA who might not otherwise walk through the door.

As always, thanks for being part of what we’re building.
